Master Classes
Your Chance to Dance with the Creators of Nia! Debbie Rosas and Carlos Rosas, co-founders of the Nia Technique, are in Toronto from June 16 through June 24 to lead professional development trainings for our wonderful Nia teachers. Take this very rare opportunity to join them for Master Classes in both Nia and the NEW 5 Stages Class at the historic Elgin and Winter Gardens Theatre Centre. You’ll move and groove with teachers in training, Nia students from all over the GTA and beyond, and the legendary creators of Nia themselves. There’s nothing like a class with the Masters!

4th Floor Rehearsal Studio (Accessed at Stage Door Entrance, 158 Victoria Street)
Cost: $25 each - Pay at the door ONLY (Cash or Cheque).
Arrival Time Suggestion: 15 - 20 minutes before Master Class starts.

A Playshop with Nia Co-Founder Carlos Rosas
Join Nia co-founder Carlos Rosas for a two-hour journey into the Heart of Nia. Through a powerful mix of music, movement, and heart-pounding joy, your body will soak up new sensations while your spirit plays! Using a blend of classic Nia and freedance, Carlos will guide you into a deeper relationship with movement, opening the gateway for you to experience the Joy of Movement from the inside out. This one-of-a-kind Nia ride, punctuated with high peaks of athletics and sensuous valleys of stillness, will allow you to explore the essence of Nia in a new way as you connect with Nia’s past, present, and future.
