Last week my most delicious friend Gwen gave me this plant. I think it's called a hen 'n chick and it's a succulent plant. Really hardy and pretty easy to look after.
As I've watched it grow, I realize it's living out my state of mind.
It has this strong, healthy, well established and mature parent-plant acting as it's foundation. It's anchored by a seriously solid and complex root system. But look at the tiny new shoots growing out in all directions.
That's me. I'm now so solid at the core that I can easily explore new directions. I'm sprouting up all over the place...where will I bloom next?
