A good fit

Black and white checkered skateboard shoes (Vans).
I used to have a pair.
That was when I tried to “fit in”
Odd, that. Fitting in.
I’m laughing now, because it doesn’t matter any more.
At the time, it was painfully important.
Tapered pants, Polo shirts, deck shoes, sweatshirts plastered with ads for
Roots and Beaver Canoe.
Later, leather jackets with tassels and cowboy boots.
I really didn’t know who I was.
So now I do.
When I made the CCNTSR decision (conscious choice not
to shop retail), I think I finally truly “fit in”
Yep, I fit into myself.

  1. Oh, I love this, Jenn. I hear you in it. It feels so good to fit. Real fit.
